This 2 session workshop, is designed for half-term-kids and their grown ups. A fun activity to do together, learning the basics of embroidery stitch and design. Kids are of course welcome without adults.
The class is intended for children (and adults) aged about 12yrs plus. A level of dexterity and care is required as we will have lots of pins, needles and scissors on our work table!
(Class 1 – Weds April 8th – entails tracing sweet shapes and patterns of your choice onto a blank, specially prepared piece of linen and, a start on learning the basic stitches on a practice linen sampler. PLEASE REMEMBER TO SELECT AND BOOK THIS CLASS ALSO.)
Class 2 – Fri April 10th – entails learning more stitches and starting to stitch over own your traced design. REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR KIT FROM LESSON 1!
