Our beginners embroidery workshop is the perfect introduction to the joys of creative embroidery. In this class, we start right at the very beginning. You will choose a few very simple and sweet designs to draw or simply trace onto a piece of beautiful soft Italian linen. Alongside those small starter designs, you will start to learn a few stitches which you will be able to use to embroider your designs, after a bit of practice. Easy, joyful, one step at a time.
Includes traceable designs, tracing paper, pencils etc. Also a handmade embroidery kit with everything you’ll need – hoop, scissors, needles & threads and a piece of soft Italian linen on which to start learning to stitch your designs.
Food & Drink: I will prepare a homemade light vegetarian snack to enjoy during our 1/2 hr break. Various teas & coffee also provided. Please feel free to bring your own food & drinks if you prefer.
The ‘Paloma Stitch Club – Drop In Follow Up Classes‘ are the perfect next step. These sessions are designed for you to continue learning the stitches you starting practising on your ‘learner linen’ in the introduction class and you can progress at your own pace to work them onto yourl design. These classes are ongoing and you can attend as many and whenever you like.
