This beginners embroidery workshop is the perfect introduction to the joys of creative embroidery and gives you the chance to work on a lovely Christmas project in good time for the table on December 25th!
In the first part of the class, I will introduce you to the world of embroidery. The materials we use and how to find inspiration for your own future plans!
In the second part of the class, using your new embroidery kit, you will start to learn the eight foundation stitches on your ‘Paloma Stitch Sampler’ . Easy, joyful, one step at a time.
Includes all of the design materials and a handmade embroidery kit with everything you’ll need – hoop, scissors, needles & threads and a piece of soft Italian linen on which to start learning to stitch.
Also included – a full Christmas Napkin design kit (6 napkins, motifs, transfer and stitch guide) so that you can practice your newly learnt stitches at home after the class.
Food & Drink: Amelia will provide fresh coffee, teas and a nibble on arrival with a selection of canapes and bites to eat during our 1/2 hr break. Please do bring your own food if you prefer.
