Our beginners embroidery workshop is the perfect introduction to the joys of creative embroidery.
In the first part of the class, using your ‘design kit’, I will teach you how to transpose traced motifs of your choosing onto a beautiful piece of Irish linen.
In the second part of the class, using your new embroidery kit, you will start to learn a few foundation stitches on your ‘Paloma Stitch Sampler’ . Easy, joyful, one step at a time.
Includes all of the design materials and a handmade embroidery kit with everything you’ll need – hoop, scissors, needles & threads and a piece of soft Italian linen on which to start learning to stitch.
Food & Drink: Amelia will provide fresh coffee, teas and a nibble on arrival with a selection of canapes and bites to eat during our 1/2 hr break. Please do bring your own food if you prefer.
The ‘Paloma Stitch Club – Drop In Follow Up Classes – £30/2hrs‘ are the perfect next step. These sessions are designed for you to continue learning the stitches you starting practising on your ‘Paloma Stitch sampler’ in the introduction class and you can progress at your own pace to work them onto your design. These classes are ongoing and you can attend as many and whenever you like.
